Referral Program

ExpertMD rewards you for growing the platform. When you refer a new doctor or attorney who signs up and starts using ExpertMD, you earn 25% of the platform fees generated by that user for 12 months from their sign-up date.

How it works

Get your referral link

Your unique referral link is available on your dashboard in the Referral card, and also in Settings > Referrals. Copy the link with one click.

Share your link

Share your referral link with colleagues, attorneys, or other medical professionals. You can share it via email, social media, or in person.

They sign up

When someone clicks your link and creates an ExpertMD account, they are automatically tagged as your referral.

You earn commissions

For every invoice paid on the platform by or to your referral, you earn 25% of the 2% platform fee. This continues for 12 months from their sign-up date.

Over 12 months, if your referral generates $100,000 in invoices, you earn:
  • Platform fee: 100,000x2100,000 x 2% = 2,000
  • Your commission: 2,000x252,000 x 25% = **500**
There is no limit to the number of people you can refer. Each referral earns you commissions independently for 12 months from their individual sign-up date.

Tracking your referrals

On your dashboard and in Settings > Referrals, you can see:
  • Total number of referrals
  • Active referrals (within the 12-month earning period)
  • Total commissions earned
  • Commission earnings by referral

Commission payouts

Referral commissions are added to your Stripe Connect payout balance and deposited along with your regular case earnings. They appear as separate line items in your earnings breakdown.
The referral program works for both doctor and attorney referrals. If you refer an attorney who starts paying invoices on the platform, you earn commissions on those payments too.
