Attorney Settings

The Settings page is where you manage all aspects of your ExpertMD account. Access it by clicking Settings in the left sidebar.

Settings tabs

Profile

Update your personal and professional information:
  • Name, email, and phone number
  • Law firm name and address
  • Practice areas and licensed states
  • Bar credentials

Billing

Manage your subscription tier and payment methods:
  • View your current subscription plan
  • Upgrade or downgrade your tier
  • Update payment method for subscription fees
  • View billing history

Intake

Configure your client intake form:
  • Set or change your URL slug
  • Enable or disable your intake form
  • Preview your intake form

Encryption

Manage your end-to-end encryption passphrase:
  • Change your passphrase
  • View your encryption status (locked/unlocked)
  • Lock your vault manually

Team

Manage team members and permissions:
  • Invite new team members
  • View current team members

Notifications

Configure which notifications you receive:
  • In-app notification preferences
  • Email notification preferences
  • Notification frequency settings

Account management

At the bottom of the Settings page, you can find account management options:
  • Sign out — Sign out of your current session
  • Delete account — Permanently delete your account and all associated data
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your cases, invoices, documents, and team connections will be permanently removed. Export any data you need before deleting your account.
